We’re a neighborhood coffee shop looking for coffee enthusiasts to work with! If you have a knowledge and interest in specialty coffee and have a natural inclination for hospitality, we would love to meet you.

We’re looking for someone who:

-Loves people and enjoys hospitality and delivering service
-Values cleanliness and is naturally a neat freak
-Takes initiative to learn and complete tasks
-Pays attention to the little things, and is neurotically detail oriented
-Stays cool under pressure during busy shifts
-Has a flexible schedule (We currently require flexibility to work weekends)
-Has service industry or high volume retail experience
-Is familiar with specialty coffees
-Is punctual
-Can lift 25 lbs and is comfortable on their feet for an extended period of time

Bonuses:

-You are experienced in pulling shots and steaming milk
-You have a food handlers license
-You are looking for something long term in this industry and hope for advancement here
-You live in Astoria

Pay is commensurate with experience.  Considerations beyond starting rate may be made for those with proven specialty coffee experience and skills. Starts part time with potential for full time.
